Meet Shani DeShield, NP

Founder & CEO, Manchester Rose Primary & Preventive Care

Shani DeShield is a Nurse Practitioner and the Founder of Manchester Rose Primary & Preventive Care, a clinic built on the belief that healthcare should be personal, preventative, and grounded in trust. With a strong clinical foundation in primary care, she brings a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to supporting patients across a wide range of health needs, from everyday concerns to long-term chronic condition management.

Her practice style is centred on getting to the root of health concerns rather than simply addressing symptoms. She places a strong emphasis on prevention, early detection, and patient education, ensuring individuals understand their health and feel confident in the decisions they make. She takes time to listen and works collaboratively with patients to develop realistic, individualized care plans that align with their goals, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing.

Shani DeShield is also committed to expanding access to innovative and supportive wellness services within the clinic setting. This includes integrating modern therapeutic options and wellness-focused treatments alongside traditional primary care to provide a more comprehensive, whole-person approach to health.

As the founder of Manchester Rose Primary & Preventive Care, she has created a space where patients are treated with respect, continuity, and compassion. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, supported, and actively involved in their care, with an emphasis on long-term health outcomes rather than quick, transactional visits.
